Where do i go to get bailed out by the government?

Two years ago I refinanced my house with an arm so I could fix it up and buy some nice stuff. Now the rate went up, and I can't afford the payment. Who's supposed to get me out of this mess now?

You are and adult and signed the contract and knew that was a possibility - it is up to you to get yourself out of the mess.Try refinance, get a second job or sell some of the "nice stuff" you bought.

Speak to your mortgage advisor, speak to the council about grants, speak to your bank manager, get a second job, take in a lodger, sell up and buy somewhere smaller, or if all this fails move out of this miserable country to somewhere nice and warm that you can afford and have change at the weekend to go out for a beer.
