He signed the quit claim deed but his name is on the Mortgage. I suddenly realized that the Mortgage is interest only and we have none to very little equity on the home and I wanted to refinance. Will I have to apply for a new loan? Also, I was a housewife for 19 years so the job I have right now is my first in years and I have only been there for 9 months. How screwed am I?
