someone would need to know your mortgage history as well. over one mortgage in the last 12 months would kill the deal.. Option payment arm is a terrible program, go 30 yr fixed..

OK, please tell me you aren't going to give all your personal information to someone who may or may not be a legitmate mortgage broker you met through Yahoo Answers!You will have bigger trouble on your hands than a re-fi. How about identity theft?

You might want to start by looking for a lender. Try your local bank. If they don't approved you go on the web there's a lot of information there. Do not let anyone run your credit until you are decided on who to stay with. To many inquires will hurt your credit score. The agent who sold you your home will definitely be able to help you. Call her and ask her to refer you to a good lender. Ask a lot of questions about the different programs there offering you. It usually takes about 3 weeks for a refinance to go through. If you start now you should be done before Sept.1.Good Luck

I agree w/ godged--don't do itAlso I found out today that the market to sell jumbo loans to investors does not exist anymore.Only banks w/ their own portfolios will do jumbo loans but the rates have gone up due to this happening today. And to qualify for them will be even harder.Good luck
