How can i get my credit score highergt?
AdamI'm refinancing my house and my credit score only 648 how can i get it higher in less time??? and suggestions?
SonnyEliminate any negative items, Pay down any credit card with a balance of more than 50% of its overall line of credit, example; if you have a credit card that is $2000 don't max it out you use 3% to 50% of it. don't apply for to many credit, and if you don't have much history try to apply for one or two card to make some history. if you have negative items you can dispute them yourself. ones they are fix, your credit score will improve. i been working with www.lexingtonlaw.com they are a little costly but they improve my credit score by 19 points in the tree month i been with them.
SherellIncreasing your credit score is not a quick fix; it takes time. The two biggest factors affecting your FICO credit scores are payment history and debt utilization (how much of your debt you are using; or the amount of a loan still owed when dealing with installment loans). As long as you are paying your bills on time, and you keep any revolving debt balances at 30% or lower (20% recommended), your score will rise. Also, paying down the balances on any installment loans will help as well.Another thing you might want to do (if you haven't) is examine your credit report(s) for any inaccuracies (especially any negative items that aren't correct). If those can be cleaned up (i.e. removed from your report) then your score will rise.
Alvin648 is not bad score. If you are aplying for homeloan, if o can afford, payoff credit cards and show prof of payments to the lender. Is this way even though credit score doesnot reflect the payments yet, it gives assurance t lender. Also make sure your total debt/income is 40% or less, but never more than 50%. Have all documents ready. In this era of subprime crisi, proven income source and no late payments in the past is key. Also if you have multiple cards from same bank, try merging them into one card to improve utilization score and also average credit limitgood luck
ChristaFind a bank that does "manual underwriting". You don't need a fico score to do manual underwriting. It's the way home loans were givin' before all the fico score worship. You can get the lowest interest rates out there.
ClaytonHi, I used "Credit Solution" to settle my loans. They managed to reduce my loans up to 58% .It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here: http://nanoref.com/linksynerg/DB0yjA
AikoBe responsible: make payments on time; keep eye to ratio on your credit cards. There is no short cut in improving your score, be patient.
Andriano more credit cards like some suggested- and paying down what you already own. I did that and mine went up 20 points just by paying it off.
Deani think a good credit card might do the trick but just one go with capital one
