Tell the judge you have already heard details from the media on the case and that you believe that the accused is guilty. If you appear very biased they will let you out of it.

If there is no specific contact information in your summons, contact the office of the clerk of courts and ask to speak with the jury manager. Then you can find out what your options actually are.

The easiest way to get out of jury duty is to have your boss write a note saying that you are indispensible and would hurt their business with your absence, feel free to be a little more subtle. Send your letter to the address on the summons.
