Can i sue my exwife for ruining my credit by not paying the house payments?

Ex-wife has one year to refinance the marital home, She according to the court is responsible for all payments. I am still on the loan. She defaults and forclosure follows. Can I sue her?

Yes, but you're technically not reasonable. You should also have your name taken off the title ASAP.

As I'm sure you know, you're on the loan and if she doesn't pay it comes down on the both of you. Also, as I'm sure you know, there's no way to get your name off the loan unless the house is sold or refinanced.I'd do two things:1. Have my attorney get back into court. Try to get the judge to modify the property settlement and give the house to you in order for you to sell it ASAP.2. Make the payments myself to save my credit.

Maybe. It depends on if you can prove the money was available for the payments, that way they can't say "well you didn't even have the money to pay for it. And if you can prove that she was souly responsible for the household finances.
