Can i refinance my home even though i own it?

Dirk
i have inherited a home and i need to pay off reletives is it possible to refinance the house if no money is owed on it?

Maria
As long as you are through the probate process and a deed has been recorded in your name, then you should be able to apply for a cash out refi. They will call it a refi, but technically isn't not since there is no mortgage of record. Speak with a loan officer or broker to get all the details, but make sure your credit is in order before you do anything

hi. If this property has no debt attached to it and providing you have the income etc to raise a mortgage then it should be no problems at all. I suggest you talk to a broker who offers mortgages from the whole of the market and who will not charge you any fees for advice and service - that way they can take all your details and make appropriate recommendations to you.

yes a very simple procedure, talk to a loan officer in your bank or open an account if you have not done so yet.and explain to your loan officer or branch manager why you need help and in turn they will (hopefully) will help you with all paper work.!wish you the best.

It's technically not a refinacing because there is not a current mortgage. However, you can take out a mortgage on the property.

yes it is - run to your local loan officer and talk to them it's free to do so enjoy your new house
